My New Makeup Routine

I posted an updated everyday Springtime make up routine recent on my youtube channel as well as on my Insta and I received so many questions about products I use! I love and appreciate all the love I’ve been getting and decided to share m new routine and products here!

#1 FOUNDATION | I’ve gone back to an old faithful, the Maybelline Super Stay foundation. It’s no secret that I prefer a matte super full coverage foundation and in this i wear he color 340 Cappuccino. I really love the finish of this foundation and will apply it with a brush oppose to a beauty blender or sponge.

#2 CONCEALER | Mac Cosmetics 24 Hour Smooth Wear Concealer. I wear color NC 45 which is actually my perfect shade ( I wear it on days that I do a no make up, no foundation look) I love the applicator on this concealer and he sped smooth and cream formula. It is very build-able and gives the perfect amount of coverage with feeling to hear on the face.

#3 CREAM CONTOUR | Dermablend is company that emerged as tattoo coverup make up and I believe went viral with a video of covering up Rick “Zombie Boy’s” tattoos. I use the Dermablend Quick Fix Concealer in the color Deep for my cream contour. Its a very warm color and gives me more of a bronzer feel than a cool toned shadowed contour. (warmer is definitely better for Spring)

#4 SETTING POWDER | I ❤ REVOLUTION Chocolate Banana Powder has quickly become my go to setting powder! Not only does it do an amazing job in setting m concealer but have a yellow base it is very brightening without leaving an ashy look! For awhile I was using Airspun which I would still recommend but the Revolution is my go to for sure!

#5 BRONZER | Urban Decay Naked Skin Ultra Definition Powder Foundation (similar here) in the color Deep is my current go to to “set” my cream contour. The powder can leave an extremely muddy look when going over the foundation and cream contour so a little definitely goes a long way. I will apply this with a tapered blush brush!

#6 BLUSH | I am such a blush girl, especially for Spring and Summer. I love adding in some color to my face in the form of a pink or orange being a brown skinned girl and Mac’s Pinch Me really is the perfect pink for the cheeks!

#7 HIGHLIGHTER | Lately I’ve found myself doing back to this older highlighter blush duo I purchased in Target years ago ( note make up that is years old really should be thrown away) The Sonia Kashak number 52 is my go to highlight and truthfully has been for quite a while! It is the perfect shimmer of gold. If you’re into a liquid highlight Born to Glow by NYX is AMAZING!

#8 THE EYES & BROWS | I love adding some of the bronzer from my face into the crease of my eyes; I then like to go in with the Tarte Cosmetics Tartelette in Bloom Palette and add a little sparkle onto my lids! When it comes to the brows I do go back and forth between quite a few products but I always use a brown pencil. From Mac Spiked to Morphe Java, as long as I’m using I’m into it!

#9 LIPS | 3 Products are my go to for my nude lip look, I start with Rimmel London Lip Liner in Coffeebean, go in with NYX Matte Lipstick in Butter then top off with NYX Buttergloss in Fortune Cookie. Sometimes the nude lipstick and nude glass change ; some glosses I love are; Mac Lust, Morphe Boho and Freebird and some Lipsticks I love are ; Milani Matte Naked and NYX Abu Dhabi.

#10 SETING SPRAY | REVOLUTION Hydrate + Fix setting spray is the last step in my current make up routine! The setting spray is so hydrating but really does leave just the smallest amount of dew to your face! Blogger Dani Austin gave me the tip of being sure to grab our beauty blenders and to press the setting spray into our skin!
