Last week I posted this outfit on my Instagram and you guys went nuts for it, so I thought I’d share it in more detail here! Back when I was about 8 years old living in New York my family and I were in the city for the day to visit some family. My parent’s came across this bright pink leather trench coat and asked if I wanted it. I tried it on (it must have been HUGE on me back then) but the color was so perfect of course I said yes. Now here I am 20 years later wearing that pink leather trench for the first time!
A quick backstory! My parents have recently moved out of their house and whilst cleaning all the closets they came across this Pink Trench of mine and when posed with the question of whether or not I wanted it of course I jumped at it! I decided to pair it with the most perfect mint leather pencil skirt (which was a gift from a friend, it had been her moms tens of years ago!), a mint pleated tank from Target, my Louboutin Nosy heels from my wedding and tons of pink accessories! How fun right?
I must be honest in saying I was very inspired by blogger Blair Eadie of the Atlantic-Pacific Blog. Those of you who know her style know she is all about the bright colors, pairing the unthought of together and she rocks it like no other! That was my exact thought in pairing the Mint and Pink together and the leather on leather!
