Spicing Up Your Look with Jewelry

I don’t know about you all but this twenty something girl is all about using accessories to really take my outfits to the next level.  Something I’m always buying is jewelry because a pair of earrings, necklaces and even bracelets and rings are pieces you can absolutely keep in your wardrobe to add some extra spice to any look! From brunching with a stack of bracelets to heading to work with 2 or 3 necklaces, I’m going to show you my favorite ways to spice up my outfits!

Layering Necklaces

One of my favorite things to do to add a little flair to my black dresses at work and jeans and white tees on weekends is absolutely layering necklaces.  Keep in mind if you’re going heavy on the neck definitely make sure you have a stud in your ear, there’s nothing worse than having to much going on.  Jewelry is almost like your body; if you’re going to focus on one area leave the others fairly simple! I’m also a fan of mixing metals just not with my necklaces!

About 3 years ago I started following Samariah Leah on Instagram and one thing I quickly became fond of was the idea of rings! Rings on each finger! For some people it’s most definitely too much however trust me when I say I’m all about it and rings are so on trend.  With jewelers like Stephanie Gottlieb and Ring Concierge posting breathtaking photos of the many rings they design and sell it’s easy to pull for inspiration on how to style rings and definitely a wag to spice up your look!

There is almost nothing like a killer pair of statement earrings! Whether you’re headed out in a super basic white cotton tee or keeping warm in an oversized knit sweater, a fun pair of earrings is ALWAYS a good way to add a little something extra to your look! My personal fav place for statement earrings is Bauble Bar and their collection with Target, Sugarfix!  Such good quality earrings and they always last. My love for statement earrings started when I shaved my head a few years back – when you have no hair to hide behind things like earrings become pretty important!
