Being a guest at a wedding is always fun!  From feeling the love in the air to dancing with friends and loved ones and everything in between it’s always a great time.  One thing I absolutely love about attending weddings is being able to put together a killer formal or cocktail look! You’d think it’s all about the dress but in my opinion a great dress is nothing without eye catching accessories!

This past weekend  was lucky enough to witness the beautiful union between my older brother Carey and his lovely fiancé Victoria.  The beautiful ceremony took place as the sun was setting and we all danced the night away!

The Dress

My dress is from designer Gianni Bini and was purchased almost 75% off during a random shopping trip as I stumbled into an outlet Dillard’s.  You ladies know how it is when you find the perfect dress and have no where to wear it.  I just had to buy this fun dress knowing the feathers would be perfect for an event one day!

The Heels

One thing I believe every woman should have in her closet is a gold scrappy heel.  I’ve worn these heels on so many nights out and believe me when I say despite the 5in heel the platform makes this shoe beyond comfortable! They were the perfect pair for my otherwise busy blue cocktail dress! Similar heels here

The Clutch

Gucci is a timeless design house and when my mother gifted me with this vintage gucci clutch from years before I was born I knew that it would be taken out for only the most special occasions.  The blue matched my dress perfectly and the gold hardware complimented my gold shoes and jewelry!

The Earrings
