I know every girl dreams of what her engagement ring will look like but honestly that wasn’t me (at least not for the majority of my life) I was more of the girl who dreamed of her wedding but we’ll save that for another post. It’s no secret Jeff and I got engaged on my birthday about 3 months ago and it wasn’t until maybe within a year of that, that I began looking at (and trying on) engagement rings. I truly had not the slightest clue of what I wanted and in the beginning all I knew was I DID NOT want a diamond ( I know, what is wrong with me, things obviously changed)! I would spend hours in jewelry stores with my mother trying on rings; solitaire rings, emerald cut rings, halo rings, morganite rings, diamond rings, white gold ring, rose gold rings and the list goes on and on. And even after trying on probably a good 50 or so rings I still had not idea of exactly what i wanted so I began telling Jeff all the things I liked and didn’t like thinking it was all going in one ear and out the other.
It wasn’t until I began throwing out little hints of what I wanted that I began to realize just how traditional Jeff was. He was very adamant on choosing a ring on his own and me being completely surprised but he did listen to what I wanted and liked. And all I wanted was 2 things! I wanted my center stone to be made up of one stone oppose to multiple and I wanted some sort of Rose Gold but NOT a Rose Gold ring and as you all can see he did perfect! The detail in my ring is so beautiful and to think he chose it all on his own makes it all the more special!
Have you thought about your dream ring?
This ring is beautiful! Congrats!
