Those of you who really know me know I am constantly changing and rearranging my living space! For me it’s all about the fung shei and honestly, who doesn’t love changing heir space with the seasons? If I could I certainly would and what room do you spend the most time in? Well if not you’re bedroom definitely your living room!
I have put together 4 of my dream living spaces and decided to bring you a living room for each season! If you’re interested in seeing my dream living rooms for each season of the year then keep on reading!
Spring

For me Spring is about light colors and fun patterns. When I think Spring, especially living her in Florida I think pastel pinks, banana leaf print and flowers. The living space I put together for Spring is one that is vibrant; the colors and décor is fun and you’ll always love coming home to lounge in this space! The floral print rug is one from BurkeDecor and is a steal at only $70! I would place this eye catching rug just under the powder pink couch so it peeks through before meeting the gold and glassware coffee table! Through in a mint arm chair and some floral ( and banana leaf ) print work for the walls and you have a living room perfect for a Soring Afternoon with your girlfriends, a few glasses of Lemonade and of course the windows open!
Summer

Summer is all about being in a light and airy space! I tend to like very light colors and a large palette of white! In Summer I like a lot of sunlight to bounce off of the white colors and the darker wood to shine, in addition I like a lot of fresh flowers and pops of brighter colors to keep your space fun and not to white which can drive you slightly insane (especially trying to keep it all clean ) You’ll see in my Summer Living Space, there is another floral rug, this time peeking from between the stark white couch and dark wood|marbletop|gold coffee table. In this space I imagine white walls with a white brick accent wall as well as dark wooden floors. I place two mint green arm chairs ($1800 Each from AlexanderandPearl) beside the couch for some symmetry and more color! Grab a fur throw and some extra accents to add some fun to the room for your friends and you to enjoy!
Fall

For me I like to keep things cozy especially in fall! Being raised in the Mountains in New York I am very found of the foliage in the trees and the colors that Fall brings. Growing up I remember dark colors in the house, especially during Fall. My dream living space in Fall is one with brick walls and again, wooden floors but a softer, lighter wood. I like the idea darker colored arm chairs oppose to a couch, my vision is sitting in this dark forest green chairs in front of a fire place, not so much sitting on the couch! I see a rug between the chairs and a wooden coffee table($1800 from HighFashionHome) for the dog to lay on. Some candle accents on the coffee table and some burnt orange paintings on the wall tie this living space together nicely.
Winter

My ideal living space during Winter is deep! I am infatuated with the idea of a deep blue velvet couch on the a deep red and brown brick wall and of course very dark wooden floors. Again I’d place a white furry rug on the floors with a marble and gold coffee table ($140 from Argos)just over it. Two matching marble top and gold hardware end tables (one for each side of the couch) some decorative pillows for fun and wall art to create a pop of lighter blues on the wall complete my perfect Winter Space, I wouldn’t mind a white mink throw blanket as well!
