3 Reasons I buy Fresh Flowers Every Week

When you find something small that you love, something that brings a little joy to your day then you should indulge in it (within reason of course!) For me that something small is having fresh flowers in my home. I keep a bouquet in my kitchen and another on my bar cart and every week when I do my Trader Joe’s run I grab 3 to 4 bouquets! I’ve found they have the best flowers! From cost to how long they last, TJ’s is undefeated.

Flowers Generate Happiness

Not only is it an aesthetic pleasure to have fresh flowers in your home but they generate a feeling of relaxation and happiness in the brain. Its been proven that flowers in your everyday environment can lower levels of stress and reduce anxiety.

They’re Pretty & Add to Your Decor

Every reason for having flowers in your home doesn’t have to be a scientific one. If you like tulips then get some and display them in our kitchen, love lavender? Pu some in a vase in the bathroom – it just adds to the space and gives a fresh and luxe feel!

I’m Practicing Self-Care

Self-Care can be done in whatever form works for you. Some weeks my self care Sunday consist of going and getting a manicure but every week it definitely consist of picking up some fresh flowers. They make me feel good and I enjoy putting together different arrangements for my home!
