It is absolutely no secret of any kind that I am a HUGE Gossip Girl fan! I mean what girl in her late twenties wasn’t right? IT was truly a show that I would say shaped this generation (maybe that’s a stretch!) But it truly was a great show, I even read the books in middle school way before the CW picked up the sitcom. One character I ALWAYS identified with was Blair, I really was much more of a Blair than a Serena – I mean the fashion, the drive slightly neurotic, she really is amazing!
If there’s one thing Blair taught me it’s that a headband elevates every look and if there’s another thing she taught me it’s that every grand staircase deserves a photo op! I recently grabbed this A New Day for Target dress and when I say it will definitely be a staple in my wardrobe through the Fall I mean it! The dress is so comfortable and airy yet perfect for Fall and Summer. I think it would be great paired with sneakers, sandals and of course boots! I opted to pair it with these Dolce Vita Combat Boots I grabbed from Bloomingdale s because I’ve always been a fan of the girly dress with masculine boots look!
