The holidays are some of my favorite times of year! The memories my family has created from family filled Thanksgivings to decorating the house on Black Friday for Christmas and of course the Christmas Eve party every year, there are so many great things surrounding this time of year! When shopping for the perfect gift for the party hostess of your upcoming holiday events it’s simple to get something that stands out (not the bottle of wine everyone usually goes for) and something that will be put to great use in the home! Truthfully, I never wanted to be THAT person but I absolutely have a set of coasters on both my bar cart and my coffee table because any drink placed on the wooden coffee table must have a coaster. This is why I believe coasters are a great gift! Something small but needed and easily made personal. Typically, I’d advice against 2 things when gift giving. Candles (because you don’t really know what sense people like in their home) and home decor (because people’s home style can at times be very personal to them) however I do feel like decor and decorative pieces are different and with candles like the linked above this is something that even if not lit can be a decor piece, whether that’s placed in the living room, the kitchen or even in the guest bath! Never grab a candle that is regularly labeled when giving it as a gift!
There is nothing like the complete bar ware set for the hostess. I love a wine holder, ice bucket, shaker set because there’s something to be said about the look of cohesive pieces both when they’re being used and when they’re not and even if the hostess isn’t drinking there’s a chance someone at the party is making a drink and ice is always being used. This is also the perfect gift for a group of girlfriend’s to split and give! With each friend grabbing one piece its easier on everyone’s pocket and the hostess will still end up with a set!
I will forever be an entertainer!
