Those of you who have been following for a while have probably said to yourself, What happened to the Twenty Something Girls Guide to Living Life Posts? Well I’m sorry! A LOT has been going on but no worries I’m back!
For all my twenty something girls out there reading this, this post is a major one because it has so much more deep down than just eating at a new restaurant or ordering a new eggs benedict!
Be honest, who always eats at the same 5 restaurants and always orders the same food? As much as my boyfriend and I love to try new places, when I find a place I like of course I’m going to want to go back. Here in Orlando, I like Pig Floyd’s for my BBQ, Spice-Shari and Amura for my sushi, Peach Valley for my brunch, I mean honestly there’s a few places I rotate between but ladies- we must broaden our horizons!
It’s not just about eating at new places, it’s about stepping out of your comfort zone, you never know you don’t like something until you try it and why not start with what or where you eat! You’ll never fully live your life if you stay within you’re comfort zone- remember that’s not where greatness happens!
Don’t think you’ll like sushi start with a Tempura Shrimp Roll, Not the biggest fan of Vodka? – try a Long Island Iced Tea instead a Vodka Cran. Trust me! I was always a Teriyaki Chicken Roll kind of girl ( my friend’s let me think I was eating sushi) then one day I stepped out of that comfort zone! I ordered something labeled the Polar Bear roll at a sushi spit here in orlando; had no idea it was Raw but I loved it and ever since that day, if something sounds appealing I’m going to order it! I found something I liked a great deal by stepping out of my comfort zone.
Next time you’re out ladies, remember eat a new restaurant or order a new meal because broadening your horizons and stepping out of your comfort zone opens you up to amazing new things!
I used to avoid spicy food but my boyfriend kept encouraging me to try it and now I’m a pro*.
*OK, not really a pro, I still go for a Korma but I can handle Nandos medium.

Yeah ground turkey is great. I find ground beef too oily and heavy.
