DIY.. Fruit Infused Water

It’s no secret that water is good for you in so many ways and we all have at least 2 fruits that we love! With summer quickly approaching, (here in Orlando it’s 80 degrees today) it’s time to stay hydrated.  Water can be super boring so why not make your own infused water!

This morning I made two waters; a cucumber lemon mixture (not pictured) and a strawberry, blueberry, mint mixture.  Both extremely tasty, very hydrating and super beneficial. Let me tell you how!

Cucumber not only keeps you hydrated, but it aids in weight loss.  It fights heat both in and out of the body as well as flushes out toxins AND can help cut out cancer!

Lemon helps to restore the body’s natural pH balance as well as containing 22 anti cancer compounds.  They give the immune system a boost all while giving you an energy boost, cleansing out your system and aiding in weight loss.

Strawberries are not only known as one of the wrinkle prevention fits but they are also packed with antioxidants.  They promote eye health by preventing cataracts as well as fighting bad cholesterol.  Strawberries reduce high blood pressure and are a great pre natal fruit.

Blueberries are great to aid in the anti-aging process.  Due to the high levels of gallic acid they contain, blueberries are known as a neuro – protective agent.  They assist in digestion and promote a healthy heart and clear skin.

Lastly I used Mint which is known to have one of the highest antioxidant capacities of any food.  Mint is great in adding strong flavor without adding calories, fat or sodium.  It’s great at relieving allergies as well as helping with indigestion.

What I Used;

– Voss sparkling water

– strawberries, blueberries and mint
