This weeks music monday post is going to be dedicated the fashion at last nights VMA Awards. As I watched the red carpet there were so many hits but quite a few misses and some looks I loved but just feel I CAN’T call a hit (beyonce’) but I’ll get to that one later.
There’s plenty of photos I have here for you guys so let’s just get right to it!
Jennifer Lopez WOW’d us in a cut out silver Charbel Zoe gown. She always hits the mark!
Solange definitely caught my eye with her big hair and her black embellished mens-inspired H&M suit
Everyone’s beloved Nicki Minaj found possibly one of the best ways to promote Anaconda in this ensemble
This I expect from Wiz… well I actually expect this from Amber Rose too! In her silver chained Laura Dewitt design and her G string underneath, she left very little to the imagination. Now I love MuvaRosebud however I’m not completely loving this look, I’ve seen her look much classier in the past and I don’t feel this is flattering to her at all.
Gwen Stefani mixed new fashion forward Gwen with old school bright Gwen in her own Line L.A.M.B I’m not completely loving it but I’m not hating either!
Kim Kardashian West (i got a little excited typing West) graced the red carpet in a 2015 Balmain mini dress with a plunging V neck and cape style sleeves! I have heard plenty say it was hideous but I think Mrs. West SLAYED! I absolutely love
Iggy Azalea walked the red carpet in a very futuristic looking Versace gown which I think was very flattering to her body and was quite beautiful on. From her hair to her soft make up the entire look worked for me, Boyfriend Nick Young who isn’t pictured tied into her look as well with silver shoes that matched her dress.
Rita Ora was a sight to see in an old hollywood red satin Donna Karan Atelier slip dress! Very sexy in an understated way, the jewelry was a nice classic topping to the look along with her pulled back her and signature red lip!
Ariana Grande served us her signature half up half down hair do ( love her but so sick of it) with a Moschino Black leather mini dress with a zipper detail and thigh high leather boots. Love Ariana but I’m just not feeling this look at all!
Jason Derulo and Jordan Sparks were a cute coordinated couple in white. Love Jordan’s look but I’m not quote feeling Jason’s 90’s boy band outfit. A couple in white? hmmm… do I hear wedding bells?!?!
Kendall and Kylie Jenner both looked very put together and sexy in a very classy way. Showing skin but not too much and in the right places, Kendall with arms and stomach and Kylie with legs they definitely BOTH worked black on the carpet last night.
What were you thinking Taylor? I understand you wanted to show off your 10 mile legs in this Mary Katrantzou jumpsuit and Elie Saab shoes but I AM NOT HERE FOR IT! Sorry hun but you’re making my worst dressed of the night list!
Ms Miley Cyrus Is on my best dressed list along with the Jenners. Miley looked stunning in her blackleather bandeau and matching trousers. We’re so use to this edgy and slightly weird Miley but this look is everything I need.
Demi Lovato gave me life in a long sleeve deep v neck red gown showing a little leg. The Lanvin gown was definitely a fitting dress for her, the red popped on her olive skin and her hair was perfection as well.
Jessie J looked very relaxed grecian goddess in a vintage Halston dress. Nothing too spectacular but I love the look, very well put together and a very nice calming color.
Couple Ireland Baldwin and rapper Angel Haze made an appearance and I must say the way they coordinated was nothing short of eye catching and amazing! The black, the green and the leather….. I’m here for it, I love it! The texture and everything!
I could go on and on with all the amazing looks I saw last night from Lavern Cox and her OITNB costars to Kesha and Jordan Dunn but I’m gonna rap this up with my thoughts on Beyonce’ “King Bee” Knowles
Beyonce looked amazing in Nicolas Jebron last night but I feel it’s something we have all seen before.. Everything about this is previous Beyonce’ from the fit an flare out to the black and texture I can’t help but feel I’ve seen it on her before in gold or variations of it over the years. But nonetheless I love Beyonce’ and her numerous looks!
