Just this past weekend I was having a conversation with my husband Jeff, an Orlando native, and found myself backtracking on one of my favorite statements from the past which was “Orlando is so boring”. Not being from here and feeling like I’d had my fill of the theme parks, there wasn’t much left for adults to do, but in the past few years, post covid I’ve found my tune changing as the city of Orlando changes with it!
Whenever a friend or family member mentions they’re coming to Orlando I find myself excited to put together a list of restaurants they should try, local home and clothing boutiques they should visit, museums I highly recommend, bars and so much more! Orlando has truly become a city known for so much other than theme parks and seeing that resurgence of businesses that I love pouring into be owned by young people is so refreshing! Now I’m not running to Miami or Tampa every chance I get because I can have a jam packed, fun weekend right here in Orlando!
