When I was younger I remember hearing women speak on power colors and at the time I didn’t truly understand what they meant but now I totally get it! My power colors are colors that are striking on me; Reds, Yellow, Pinks and most definitely Oranges! Guess that makes me a Spring/Summer girl but we already knew that!
When I saw this bright Orange dress in target a few weeks back I knew I had to have it! The length is perfect for Spring days, the side and back cut outs are great for the warmer Orlando weather and the ruffles on the shoulder add the perfect amount of sass! I opted to wear this dress a few weekends back when I treated my husband Jeff to a Day Date. I planned a brunch for us before spending an afternoon in Winter Park on the Scenic Boat Tour (amazing houses!), a trip to my favorite local book store (where I picked up some Tessa Bailey Books!) and some afternoon shopping. Ip aired the orange dress with my white floral Kate Spade sandals, my olive green Tory Burch Eleanor Bag – Might I add, I am quickly becoming such a fan of Tory Burch and my Amazon sunnies!
This was the perfect look for the date and serves as my telling you it is an absolute MUST to find out your power colors!
