For as long as I can remember there have always been fashions questions surrounding wearing white. When can I wear white? It is appropriate for this occasion or that occasion? How do I accessorize a White look? Well today I’m answering those questions! So if you’re interest in my perspective then keep reading!
IS IT APPROPRIATE TO WEAR WHITE TO A BRIDAL EVENT?
No, Negative, Don’t Event Think About It! This is hard no, we all know that a girl (or might I say most girls) wait a lifetime and always dream of their special day and it is truly their special ay so why take the one color that belongs to her? The only time this is every appropriate is if the invitation specifies a white dress code ( yes, I have seen couples do that!). Truthfully, I wouldn’t even considering wearing white to someone else’s bridal shower or engagement party! Just steer clear babes.
IS NO WHITE AFTER LABOR DAY STLL A FAUX PAS?
Truthfully, I’ve always hated this rule and since moving to Florida have realized it seems to be more of a NorthEastern thing. I am 100% all for wearing white whenever you want! (with the exception of the above mentioned events) I personally think White is such a beautiful color for the Winter season from booties to leather jackets and even a full monochromatic look! I say go for it sis!!
HOW DO I ACCESSORIZE
With literally anything! A pop of color in the form of a lippie, a shoe or a bag, Gold jewels, literally anything. It’s white so you can do anything you’d like!
