Much like couples around the world, recently Jeff and I haven’t had many date nights out but we’re hopeful that will soon change! Regardless of what we’ve got going on (short of anything physical like a bowling date) my date night outfit is always some variation of the above!
As you’ve seen on my 15 items every woman needs in her wardrobe I’m wearing 4 of those pieces in my go to date night look! Starting with the dark denim jeans, I think regardless of the shape of your jeans ( always pick what’s most flattering for your body type), a dark denim is more appropriate for an evening situation if a denim is what you’re going for. I prefer a denim on a date night because it can easily be dressed up with a blouse and heels but isn’t too dressy to wear you’ll feel out of place anywhere! I always pair my jeans with a camisole in a neutral color ( pink, white, black or even a nice slate grey) a camp always you to show the perfect amount of up top skin but keep it covered (until you want to reveal more) with a nice blazer. I always go for a black oversized blazer and love it draped over the shoulders! Paired with a black leather handbag and black heels and you’ve got a simple yet chic go to date look just like mine!
