Last weekend while cleaning the apartment I was listening to one of my favorite new podcasts With Whit by Whitney Port – and if you loved the Hills and even more so, the City then you’ll love her podcast! The episode that inspired this blog post was Simple Living with Courtney Carver and when I tell you it was such an amazing episode! Courtney Carver explained that she believes living with less clutter, busyness and stress allows you to simplify your life and will in turn help you in making room for what is truly important!
She talks about the 333 Rule which is essentially living for 3 months with just 33 pieces from your wardrobe! These 33 pieces are inclusive of shoes and accessories (jewelry, sunglasses, handbags, etc) but does not include; loungewear (in the home), pajamas and under garments! She explains that although this is a challenge, you’re not being graded and its important to remember, if a rain coat isn’t in your 33 pieces and it’s raining… just go grab the raincoat!
I thought this was a great challenge and decided beginning April 1 I’m going to take part! Every Monday I will post my outfits from the following Monday through Sunday so you can see the breakdown of how I styled my pieces. Sole’s get into exactly what pieces I’ll be using for my 333 Challenge and if you plan to partake in this challenge I want to know!

I love your choices, which all sound very versatile and stylish. I take four items of clothing with me to my blokes house every week and always wear a pair of earrings and two little hoops and a coat.So that’s 25 items a month. That was easy!

Thanks! My goal was to keep it overall pretty simple so my pieces could easily mix and match with a few pieces that could be fun! Yes you could easily do this!!!

I’ve got a post about mixing and matching summer items and ‘night out’ clothes scheduled. Vests, chiffon maxi skirts and sandals seem to be a winner
