5 Pieces in Your Wardrobe That Can Transition from Summer to Fall

With August halfway over and September on the horizon I thought why not put together a list of some of my Fall Must haves that depending on where you live, you can still rock during the end of Summer! Having lived in New York for the first 12 years of my life I have a very real concept of what Fall is however having lived in Orlando for the last 14 years I unfortunately am slightly let down every year during the turn of seasons! I’d love for nothing more than to be wearing boots and thick socks, giant sweaters and pea coats and although I get to maybe 1 week of the year it’s just not enough for me!

Anywho let’s get into what pieces I think are not only perfect for the last few weeks of Summer but also perfect for Fall!

Starting with these Steve Madden Swagger Boot

I love a slouchy boot because it’s more casual and works for Summer, I also feel the same about suede. A material that can be worn any time of year and work I think the Brown color makes this really work for Fall and let’s keep it real a boot is so Fall!

The Kate Spade Thompson Street Embellished Sam

This is a bag that I wasn’t sure I liked at first however the more I look at it the more I Fall absolutely in love with it! And how perfect for the transition of Summer to Fall! The color is light enough to pass as a Summer season Satchel but the gem stones have enough of a Merlot color to be the perfect everyday bag for Fall! And all that detail for just $398 is such a great deal don’t you think?!

The Sam Edelman Roya Studded Bootie

The bootie is a closet piece that is always in style! Whether it’s July and your bootie is being worn with denim cut offs or it’s October and your rocking your booties with skinny jeans and an oversized sweater, a funky pair of booties (with a fun studded pattern) is totally a must!

The Long Sleeve Mini Dress

Much like this Finley Dress in Rose Garden I think the long sleeve mini dress is such a season transitional piece! Whether you’re wearing it at night with heels in the Summer or during the day with a leather moto jacket and booties in the Fall, this style of dress is one that is easily accessible and easily styled!

The Sam Edelman Felicia Ballet Flat

We’re all aware that ballet flats have been around since the beginning of time but in my mind Olivia Palermo definitely made ballet flats a thing during her stint on MTV’s The City! The ballet flat is something that will always be perfect because with such an array of colors you can mix and match for each season! From Bubblegum Pink and Mint Green to Burgundy and Burnt Orange, I’d make sure to have a colored ballet flat for every season

The Moto Jacket

Depending on which coast you live on a Moto jacket is a year long necessity, now here in Orlando I’m not wearing a Moto jacket at 3 in the afternoon on an August day. Maybe in San Diego that’s a realistic thought however at 11pm on a night out it’s definitely being thrown over my shoulders! I know the Moto jacket like this Vegan Suede Moto from Banana Republic is an absolute must for Fall so run and get one I promise you won’t regret it!

Now there’s truly tons of pieces you need in your Summer to Fall wardrobe but I’m going to end it with this last piece!

The Coach Parker Bag!

Not only is this bag transitional from Summer to Fall but it’s also the perfect Day to Night bag! This bag comes in an array of colors however I’m beyond obsessed with the black leather and vintage gold chain piece! This bag says to me I’m a powerful woman who’s going to meet the girls downtown after work! That might be a stretch but it is a perfect Summer to Fall piece at a great price point!
