5 Pieces to Invest in That Will Take You from Day to Night Easily

We all have those moments when you’re headed to work by 7:30 in the morning and get that text from your girlfriends at 5 to meet for drinks after work at 6 and then before you know it your boyfriend or husband is calling you asking you to meet him downtown for dinner at 8.  You need to have pieces in your wardrobe that you can wear to work that that can easily be taken from a work day to a night out.  I’m here with what I believe are the 5 pieces that can do just that!

1; A Perfectly Fitted Dress ; Traditionally someone would’ve said a little black dress however I personally feel as long as the dress fits you it can easily be taken from day to night – I would say go for it and don’t go too bright – a fitted dress in Black, Nude, Burgundy, Grey and even Navy can easily go from the workplace to bar! 2 ; Pumps ; Ladies, a pointed toe pump can easily go from day to night and of course when in the office it’s almost expected to be in a pair of pumps!  I love a good pair of pumps, with jeans and a blouse and with a dress or skirt, the perfect pair of pumps can really elevate an outfit and take you from that lunch meeting to the cosmopolitan with your husband.  See here, here and here

3 ; A Pencil Skirt ; I’m all about a pencil skirt in the office with a perfectly tucked in blouse and the look definitely works after hours as well! Whether you’re calling clients or calling your girlfriends for a cosmo, a pencil skirt is a wardrobe item that can transition perfectly from day to night. See here and here
