Rihanna is always in the news for something, whether that be a super daring outfit choice, a slick comeback on twitter or a hot new song with some of our favorite artists, Well she’s in the news again and this time she’s making history.
Dior has announced Rihanna as their newest ambassador. Why is this making history you’re probably asking… Well this makes her the first Black woman to be the face of the very prestige fashion house.
Ms. Fenty will star in the next installment of the houses Secret Garden campaign. The campaign was shot in Versailles and is scheduled to be revealed this Spring. In Dior campaigns we’ve seen numerous ambassadors ranging from Jennifer Lawrence, a hologram Marilyn Monroe, Natalie Portman and so many others for different departments of the house ranging from beauty to fragrance and of course the collection of clothing. I think RiRi is going to be the perfect fit. Both fashionable, classy and edgy her I DONT GIVE A F*$K attitude is what sets her apart from the others.
It’s no secret that RiRi loves fashion, we see her on the many red carpets experimenting with her look and in the front row of all the shows both Paris and New York.
