Michael Costella was first introduced to me via Lilly Ghalichi from the Shahs of Sunset. She wore his beautiful gowns to almost every function she attended during and well after taping of the show and then I saw his creations again on Beyonce’ at the Grammy’s. (pictured below) It seems this young man is slowly but surely taking over red carpets all over and everyone is definitely loving him!

For those who do not know or may not remember Michael Costello was a contestant on Project Runway’s Season 8 and was a finalist on the shows Allstar season, he clearly wasn’t just a fan favorite. Costello has dressed more than just these 2 fabulous ladies, his list of cliental includes but isn’t limited to Celine Dion, Paris Hilton and many of the reality TV “real housewives”. One of his biggest accomplishments? other than having Beyonce’ wear his gown to the Grammy’s, this self taught designer was featured in VOGUE, at age 14 he created a couture collected which earned him an article in Vogue titled “LA’s Hidden Talent”
