There comes a time in every women’s life where she takes those pieces she’s been hoarding in her closet for a decade and gloves them to her daughter!  Well This white laced dress is a staple in my closet and will definitely be my go to this Summer and I have my mother to thank for that.  I often look at pictures from my mother growing up and think why didn’t you keep that for me, from dresses to skirts and even accessories; she has such great pieces that I sometimes take but am mostly given.

I’m not quite sure when my mother purchased this dress but it’s the perfect Summer look! I often pair it with my converse but it’s perfect for a Sunday morning at church with heels and even with a sandal, Ladies I’ve even worn this dress to the beach over my favorite swimsuits. I will definitely be living in this dress this Summer and I can’t wait to ransack my mother’s closet to see what else I can take!

Saturday Brunch in Target Style

Processed with VSCO with m5 preset

This past weekend a close family friend ( much like a younger sister to me) had a brunch at the Downtown Orlando Citrus Club to celebrate her graduating from High School.  It was such a great time and of course I loved a reason to put together a great look and be out and about!

I had no idea what I was going to wear and decided to make a run to Target – with all the collaborations they’ve done recently I knew it would be a breeze to find something and I was definitely right! I tried on dozens of dresses that were all beyond cute before find the one that I just loved!  From the color and pattern to the fit and detail this A New Day polka dot dress was absolute perfection, especially for a brunch.  I paired the look with these DV Style Gold mules with the knot detail and the gold statement Sugarfix by BaubleBar for Target earrings.  I mean How fun is the look overall?

On Saturdays We Brunch

One thing I absolutely love is a wardrobe piece that can easily be taken from day to night! On Friday I was out and about with my parents and we decided to check out the Banana Republic the factory store because I’d gotten an email that there was a major sale (as always) If you haven’t checked out the Banana Republic Factory Store you definitely should because there are always great sales! I snagged this jumpsuit for 40% off (similar) and it literally wardrobe perfection.  Classic and clean, this jumpsuit is the perfect piece for a day to night flip and I thought it would be the perfect looking for our Saturday brunch!

We decided to head to Earl’s Kitchen for Saturday brunch and would you believe they have a brunch happy hour!  Before noon all food on the brunch menu is just $8 and all drinks are only $4!  Who doesn’t love a happy hour of any kind?  Jeff and I both opted for  the Chicken and Waffles and although it wasn’t the best we’ve had it certainly was delicious!  Paired with Orange Mimosas and a beautiful patio setting, Earl’s Kitchen in Millenia is definitely a must try place if you’re in the Orlando area.

Back to the outfit!  I paired this killer off the shoulder jumpsuit with a denim jacket just thrown over the shoulders! I think the Old Navy denim jacket was the perfect piece to compliment this all black look!  I finished the outfit with my favorite Sam Edelman sandals and of course my Henri Bendel Claremont Top Handle bag and I felt Brunch Ready!

Bare Shoulders and Lakeridge Winery

This past Saturday Jeff and I met up with my parent’s at one of our favorite places, Lakeside Winery for their big Seafood Festival!  The weather was perfect and the winery was absolutely packed but we had an amazing time.  We enjoyed a complimentary wine tasting and an array of seafood while different bands took the stage.

Knowing the weather would be low 80’s with no humidity and sunny all day I opted for a lose fitting and easily breathable outfit!  Both my button up skirt and off the shoulder top are from Amazon purchased last year alone with my favorite Sam Edelman Sandals that Jeff got me for our 1 year anniversary a few years ago.

I completed this look with my gifted Henri Bendel NOHO HOBO which was sent to me last week by the brand ( be on the lookout for it soon! ), a few necklaces from this little boutique EDIE in the third ward Milwaukee WI and my favorite glittery Gucci Sunglasses (similar)

Certainly the perfect outfit I’d say for a Spring day at a Festival!

Black Ruffles in Milwaukee

DSC02635DSC02638DSC02641DSC02642DSC02644DSC02645

When you’re living in the Sunshine State like I do then heading anywhere with different weather is exciting!  When I started packing for this past weekend in Milwaukee, I was beyond excited to put outfits together!  Now don’t get me wrong it was freezing but dressing for the cold was so fun! When going to a city that isn’t just chilly but is actually very cold the pieces I’d say you absolutely have to bring are: boots and/or booties, sweaters and of course a fun coat!

On this particular day I opted for my American Eagle Mom Jeans with a barely seen thick black sock and the black leather Topshop booties with Gold Hardware detail. This long sleeve black button up with the long and very dramatic ruffle detail is definitely a fav of mine and worked so perfectly with the booties and my Calvin Klein blue wool coat! I grabbed my Henri Bendel Carlyle Satchel and my look was complete!
