My work uniform has stayed pretty consistent in that I love a neutral color palette. I’ve found the best way to monopolize my wardrobe and ensure I have pieces that can be worn time and time again, mixed and matched to create multiple looks is by sticking to basics both in color and item! I love a black pant (whatever style works for you) paired with a tank, a tee, a blouse or a sweater and one of my favorite places to shop for these pieces is the Banana Republic Factory!
Yesterday’s look of the day was fairly simple. I wore these pleated, wide legged black trousers I found just this weekend (and currently on clearance!) paired with the black and white striped, high neck sweater tank (again from BRF). For my shoes I wore my trusty Circus by Sam Edelman ballet flats and I must say I absolutely love these because of the square toe! It feels very chic. I opted for my glasses instead of contacts, everyday jewelry and my red tote for a pop of color!
