7 Beauty Must Haves for Your Next Vacation

Spring is here and that means I see a bunch of quick weekend getaways to the beach in my future! Living in Florida it’s super easy to get off work on a Friday and drive down to Miami Beach or book a quick room at my fav hotels; the W Fort Lauderdale or the Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach and enjoy a nice quiet weekend with the husband beachside. I mean I can’t say it enough I’ll take a Miami or Ft. Lauderdale beach weekend anyway! There’s something so great about being right by the water and feeling unplugged! I figured since vacation season is among us why not share my list of 10 beauty items you NEED for your beach vacay!

TINTED MOISTURIZER

If you’re anything like me you like smooth with some coverage but on vacation you prefer a more lightweight feel (especially being out in the sun!) I love a tinted moisturizer because you get that coverage and the lightness at the same time and the SPF you’ll find in a tinted moisturizer is a must for laying poolside! My go to is the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer – it has an SPF of 30 and leaves the skin feeling hydrated and flawless! Sometimes I will mix it with my NXY Born To Glow Liquid Illuminator in shade Sun Goddess.

MAC STUDIO FIX CONCEALER

I LIVE FOR THIS CONCEALER! It’s full coverage and a little goes a long way and can be worn all day long! I love that I don’t ever have to touch it up. This concealer is super creamy and isn’t during at all! I wear color NC45 which is my no makeup color – matches my skin perfect and I like that of vacation. I typically will set it with this powder and be on my way!

NYX THE BROW GLUE

This is the newest step in my beauty routine and I definitely use it everyday not just on vacation! The is the best brow glue I have ever used for that stay in place all day look! It is clear so you are just working with your own brows but what I do is use a little of my mascara for some color (my hair is dyed blue black) so the black mascara isn’t too harsh for me and then I go in with the brow glue to keep everything frayed and in place!

BLUSH

I’ve found that even on days when I don’t use a bronzer a blush will get the job done by adding some color into my face! My go to Blushes are Pinch Me by Mac and 2 Cool 4 School by ColourPop. Both options are perfect because one is a light pink and the other is a more toasted peach which can act as a bronzer blush!

MASCARA

My go to mascara is the Too Faced Better Than Sex Volumizing Mascara. I love a mascara even on a no make up day just for an extra pop around the eyes. This particular mascara gives my lashes a nice coating and really extends them which I love!

Bobbi Brown Tinted Lip Balm

I have NEVER in my life found a tinted lip balm I love more than this! My go to color is bare melon because it has the smallest tint of orange! This balm is lightweight, sheer and so MOISTURIZING. I do love this in Bare Pink and Bare Nude as well and will always purchase all 3 together! I love a non sticky and super moisturizing lip product for vacation and you’ll love this too!

Body Bronzer

For vacation one thing I absolutely love is looking like a bronzed goddess! From laying poolside with a nice glow to walking to dinner in a maxi I just love a good glow! I use the Makeup Revolution Molten Body Glow in the color Warm Bronze (perfect for the brown skin girls!). There’s something so perfect about body illuminator for that vacation glow from all over the body to just on the collarbones this is a MUST!
