Happy Thursday Ladies!  Friday Eve is in full effect and today I am bringing you my Summer Must Have Shoe Guide!  The 6 shoes I think every girl needs in her Summer Wardrobe for every occasion!

I’m such a huge shoe girl it’s almost sickening and I wish I could solely blame my mother but my father’s shoe closet is so intense that when I moved out he took over the closet in my bedroom!  I come from a serious shoe loving family and I own it!

Let’s start with Mules.  The mule is the perfect shoe, especially for Summer.  It’s extremely easy to get in and out of and brings a casual yet still “chic” (starting to hate that word) vibe to any look! I think a Maxi dress and a denim jacket draped over the shoulders, I’m totally here for the mules, especially those in eye catching prints or bold colors like the Steve Madden Mules pictured above.

I feel like this next pair is a given but Sneakers!  Ladies, Sneakers are a must have for your Summer Shoe selection!  Over the last few years it’s become way more acceptable and dare I say completely stylish in a model off duty kind of way to wear sneakers with just about anything!  Whether you’re frolicking around the streets of SoHo in a DVF dress with your Nike Roshes Pictured above or having dinner Downtown in a cropped satin pant, a white v neck T Shirt and a pair of Adidas Stans you can absolutely always pair your look with a Sneaker, especially in the summer!

Now you must always have a Casual Heel in your shoe shelf.  This is the perfect daytime shoe!  Whether you’re wearing your heels with denim cuts off and a ruffled off the shoulder top or with that sundress you bought two weeks ago or even with those jeans you told yourself you absolutely couldn’t live without this is they shoe you’ll find yourself gravitation towards during the summer when you don’t exactly want to wear a flat but aren’t wanting to wear wedges either.  This shoe like the Steve Madden pictured above is super casual because the heel suede or maybe even cork and the color is very daytime but slightly more dressed up than a sandal or flip flop.

Let’s move on to the slip on!  This is the perfect shoe for those poolside days! Pool Parties with a group of friends?  This is the shoe you’ll be wearing, even when you find yourself walking down the beach or taking the elevator up to the rooftop pool of your favorite beachside hotel this is the shoe for that!  In my mind I see myself wearing this shoe with my one piece vintage swimsuit and denim cut offs, or even with my swimsuit and that fun cover up you’ve been dying to wear!  This shoe although may not be worn too often is a must!
